Cantonment Board, Allahabad runs 01 Primary, 01 Junior High School, 01 High School & 01 School for special Children located in area of the Cantonment to cater to the educational requirements of the civil population of the cantonment. The education is imparted by charging a nominal fee.The poor and the lower strata of the population are mainly benefited from these schools who cannot afford sending their wards to expensive public schools. The Cantonment Board has made a sincere attempt to provide Computer education and good academic environment to these relatively deprived children by providing them almost similar facilities which are available to children going to the public schools.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Admissions begins in the month of July every year.
The application is to be addressed to the concerned headmistress/headmasters.
Application form duly filled must be deposited.
Birth certificate of the child is to be enclosed with the application.
Admission can be made to any class (I to V) depending upon the vacancy.
In case of admission to any class above VI standard, T.C. from the previous school, is required
FACILITIES
All the four Cantonment Board schools are housed in decently constructed and neatly maintained buildings with proper facilities of electricity and water. The buildings have sufficient space for playgrounds and specially constructed platform to conduct cultural activities.
Computer Education
All schools in cantonment board have their own Computer labs. Computer classes are conducted for the students of Class I to X by qualified Teachers. Quiz competition is conducted time to time.
